East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service attends funeral of Greater Manchester firefighter Stephen Hunt

Senior members of staff from East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service will pay their respects today to firefighter Stephen Hunt from Greater Manchester Fire Rescue Service.

Firefighter Hunt lost his life at a fire in the city centre earlier this year and ESFRS has offered its support to the Service during this difficult time.

A ceremonial Fire Service funeral takes place today (3rd September) and our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

Assistant Chief Officer Cheryl Rolph, from ESFRS will be among those attending the funeral service today, along with Firefighter Andrew Petch and Watch Manager Neil Walter.
