East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have attended Cardinal Newman Catholic School in Hove following reports of a small chemical spill.
We were called at 09.57 on 20 September 2013.
South East Coast Ambulance Service and Sussex Police were also in attendance.
A ESFRS HazMat officer was sent to the scene along with two fire appliances.
Pupils had been moved to the school hall away from the incident.
The affected area was cordoned off and the spillage was contained.
A Positive Pressure Ventilation Fan was used to disperse any fumes.
The area was deemed safe and the incident handed over to the police and ambulance service.
Fire crews left the scene around midday.
