Person cut free after road collision in Wealden

East Sussex Fire and Rescue crews have cut one person free after a collision between an oil tanker and a motor vehicle.

We were requested by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 16.24 on 23 September.

It happened at Bells Yew Green in Wealden.

Crews from Crowborough and Wadhurst were mobilised.

One person was trapped in the motor vehicle. Cutting gear was used, the casualty was freed and left in care of the ambulance service.
