Hastings firefighters were called out to a deliberate fire following reports of black smoke seen in the area.
Two crews, along with the Aerial Ladder Platform, were sent to derelict site in Archery Road at 3.47pm yesterday (14th October).
Firefighters used breathing apparatus to tackle the fire, along with firefighting foam.
Station Manager Paul Way said: “This is a dangerous site and very difficult to secure. Fire crews had to work in an area which is a rambling derelict building with numerous hazards including cables, lift shafts and unguarded drops.”
Crews remained at the incident until 4.35pm.
