East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service supported International Women's Day on 6th March 2014 and staff were given an opportunity to access a live streamed event, which included inspirational interviews, entitled 'Gender Intelligence - Science of Communication.'
The live screening was held at two separate venues within the Service, over lunch breaks, and both male and female staff were invited to attend.
The event was supported by Assistant Chief Officer, Cheryl Rolph along with a range of staff from East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service.
Nicky Thurston, Inclusion and Diversity Advisor said: “East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service embraced and celebrated International Women’s Day. It was wonderful to see our staff engaged in such a positive and inspirational event.”
