Seaford Fire Station gears up for fun



Seaford Community Fire Station is getting ready for its annual open day on the 7th of June 2014.

There will be plenty to see and do. Visitors will be able to watch a chip pan demonstration, revealing the effect of water on hot oil and showing how tackling this type of fire on your own can result a disaster.

There will also be a demonstration of firefighters’ skills when it comes to rescuing people from  height. A raffle is also planned and children can make their own safety-themed badges.

There will be free fire and road safety advice with experts on hand to answer questions to help you stay safe.
