Fire in flat in Brighton was accidental

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called at 17.47 on 18 June 2014 to reports of a fire in Brighton.

Crews from Roedean, Preston Circus and Hove attended an address on Grafton Street.

The fire was in a top floor flat of a building consisting of three floors and a basement.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the building.

Two hose reel jets were used to put the fire out and used a PPV fan to clear smoke.

All persons were account for.

The fire was accidental.
