House fire in Brighton was accidental

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called at 11.06 yesterday (5 June 2014) to reports of a fire at an address on Sandhurst Avenue in Brighton.
 
Smoke was seen coming from the property.
 
Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus tackled the fire, which was in a ground floor kitchen.
 
Firefighters administered first aid and called an ambulance for two occupants of the home who were suffering from smoke inhalation.
 
A PPV fan was used to clear the smoke.
 
An investigation found the cause was accidental
