Final day in latest strike action

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has resumed normal cover after a one hour strike by members of the Fire Brigades Union.

Members walked out between 22.59 and 23.59 on 15 August 2014 in the dispute with Government over pensions.

Our contingency crews were on duty ready to respond to emergencies but attended no incidents.

Two further strikes will take place today, 16 August. The first between noon and 2pm and the second between 22.59 and 23.59.

Safety advice can be found on our website: http://www.esfrs.org/about_us/industrialaction.shtml
