Heathfield Community Fire Station will be taking part in this year’s popular Anglo/French day of celebrations.
The town comes together to embrace the continental event which sees visitors flock from far and wide.
The fire station will throw open its doors to the public on Bank Holiday Monday (25th August) between 10am and 4pm to coincide with the Le Marché celebrations.
Visitors will be able to enjoy watching drills from crews, a chip pan demonstration as well as see firsthand a vintage fire engine, with a chance for kids to have a ride in the old engine.
The Services’ cuddly mascot will also be there for little ones to meet and greet, along with a stall selling items from the Fire Fighters Charity such as t-shirts, key rings and kids games.
Come along and join in the fun!
