Normal cover resumed after one hour strike

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service has returned to normal cover following an hour-long strike by the Fire Brigades Union.

The walk out took place between 22.59 and 23.59 on 12 August as part of the pensions dispute with Government.

Contingency crews were on duty and we attended a bin fire in Hurst Green, responded to an automatic fire alarm in Brighton and an incident involving an electrical fuse box in Heathfield.

Information about further strikes can be found here: http://www.esfrs.org/about_us/industrialaction.shtml
