Mayfield will come alive this weekend for its popular bonfire torchlight procession and street market.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service will be there to take part in the fun celebrations from 1pm on Saturday 20th September.
Watch Manager Neil Walter said: “This is a great chance to meet the public and engage with them in a fun way but to also pass on relevant safety messages.
“East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service would like to remind people not to pick up any torches or fireworks but to enjoy themselves at the event.
“They will be a chance for youngsters to put out the fire in the fire house and see Mayfield’s fire engine, as well as have a go around the push bike course.”
The street market will get underway from the Memorial Hall car park at midday, with the torchlight procession starting in the High Street at 7.30pm and the fireworks will take place in Court Meadow.
