Woman treated for smoke inhalation after fire in Seaford

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called at 16.47 yesterday (10 September 2014) to reports of a fire in Seaford.

Crews from Newhaven and Seaford attended an address on Upper Chyngton Gardens.

There was a small fire in the kitchen.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to put the fire out.

A PPC fan was used to clear the smoke.

One woman was given oxygen therapy after suffering from smoke inhalation and an ambulance was called.
