East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is offering children the chance to design its
Christmas card this year.
Chief Fire Officer and Chief Executive Des Prichard said:
“It may seem a little early to be thinking about Christmas but this year we wanted to get the community we serve involved. We know there are lots of talented budding artists out there and would love to see one of their pictures on the front of our card. We will also put pictures up on our Facebook page so everyone can enjoy them.”
Children from Year Six and below are being asked to draw a picture which helps spread safety messages or highlights the work of East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service.
For example, it could show how important it is to have working smoke alarms in your home, how you should pay attention when cooking or how you should regularly sweep your chimney. More information about our work can be found on our website www.esfrs.org
The winner will be chosen by the Chief Fire Officer in mid-November and will receive a £25 National Book Token gift card.
How to take part
The deadline for entries is 5pm Monday 10 November. Pictures should be drawn on A4 sized paper with name and contact details on the back. We are sorry but we cannot return any of the pictures. Entries must be posted to:
