Lewes Community Fire Station Christmas open evening – Wednesday 10th December

Lewes Community Fire Station is once again opening its doors to give locals the chance to see behind the scenes.  Everyone is welcome to come along to the open evening at North Street, which will run from 3.30pm to 6.30pm on Wednesday 10 December.

Bring the family along to meet the firefighters and look around the appliances and specialist vehicles. Our firefighters will be on hand to demonstrate some fire and rescue skills, provide potentially life-saving home fire safety advice and take bookings for free home fire safety visits.

Come along and enjoy a great evening which will also include: carol singing, switching on the Tower lights, Santa’s grotto and hot refreshments.

The event is sponsored by Gold Cliff Nursery, which has donated a Christmas Tree.

Borough Commander Garry Collins said:  “Year after year, we work hard to ensure that the station and staff are a true part of the community.

“This event will help us promote home and road safety at this important time of the year and we look forward to welcoming you to the Fire Station at North Street on Wednesday 10 December.”
