Firefighters cut a casualty free from the wreckage of a two-vehicle collision in Hartfield this morning (23rd January).
Two appliances from Crowborough and Forest Row were mobilised to Gallipot Hill at 8.40am, following reports of a collision.
A Building Control Officer was also called to the scene to assess the damage to a nearby property.
Crews released one person, who became trapped in the collision, who was then taken to hospital via ambulance. A second casualty received precautionary checks at the scene by paramedics.
East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service left the scene at 9.35am and handed over to police officers, who were also in attendance.
