East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service were mobilised
to two road traffic collisions yesterday (22nd February).
The first incident took place along Northiam Road,
Broad Oak, Brede, at 7.47am following reports of one person trapped, who was
released before crews arrived.
The injured person was left in the care of South
East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAMB) and crews spent time making the vehicle
safe, before leaving.
A second incident happened along the A267 in Five
Ashes at 8.01am, involving one car and one petrol tanker.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to release one
person trapped in the wreckage and an ambulance was in attendance.
Crews spent time making the area safe.
