Sussex Control Centre staff get cycling for Comic Relief



Staff from East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service will attempt to cycle 240 miles in 24 hours in aid of Comic Relief this Friday,13 March 2015.

Sussex Control Centre staff, joined by officers from both East and West Sussex Fire Services will cycle a hypothetical route south to Brighton and around the whole Sussex border as far west as Emsworth, north through Midhurst to Crawley and as far East as Rye before returning back to Brighton via Eastbourne, finally heading north homeward towards the Sussex Control Centre.

The event starts at 8am on March 13th and will be held in an office adjoining the control room in Haywards Heath, West Sussex on a static bike with progress being tracked to reach the goal of 240 miles in 24 hours.
